If "In vino veritas" means "In wine, truth," then what is the proper
Latin for "In wine, untruth"?
The closest I know is "In vino perfidia," but this implies dishonesty,
rather than mere error.
Can anyone suggest alternative translations in Latin? (Is "In vino
inveritas" correct?)
Sincerely,
S. K. Bernard
