"There is nothing so absurd but some philosopher hath not said it" -
much quoted and supposedly from Cicero's 'On Divinition'

But I have just skimmed right through books I and II of the Loeb, and
can find nothing like it. Any help appreciated!

How about the last sentence of Book 2 section 119 -

"Sed nescio quo modo nihil tam absurde dici potest quod non dicatur ab
aliquo philosophorum."
